在 升級到 Mac OS X 10.4.4 後，之前我用 apache+php+mysql 架的 WordPress 就連不上了
php 無法連結 mysql
在查了 phpinfo 後發現，10.4.4 在編譯 php 時，Configure Command 多指定了 mysql-sock 的參數:
–with-mysql-sock=/var/mysql/mysql.sock
因此造成了問題，在 10.4.3 以前是預設在 /tmp/mysql.sock 的
因此，我就建一個 link 後，我的 WordPress 又可以正常工作了：

sudo mkdir /var/mysql
sudo chown mysql /var/mysql
sudo ln -sf /tmp/mysql.sock /var/mysql/

NewsFire 1.3 (v53) beta 釋出

This release fulfills the long-standing request to have NewsFire download and display site icons for its feeds. I had always debated with myself whether site icons were unnecessary visual clutter or useful visual cues. The latter opinion won out in the end, though individual users can set the appearance preference whichever way they prefer. Site icons are enabled by default right now, but I may change this.

難得在微軟的網站上出現 Windows Media® Components for QuickTime 可以 Free Download 的消息
其實就是 Flip4Mac 的 Player 版本，當然，若要再進階把檔案轉換成 WMV 的格式，就要花錢買進階版了

昨天一大早就起來，看看 MacWorld 的最新消息
然後，就發現一堆東西可以更新
很高興的就把 iTunes 6.0.2、QuickTime 7.0.4 以及 10.4.4 給更新了
然後重開時，悲劇就發生了
可以順利開機，但什麼程式都無法執行，一執行馬上就 Crash 掉
最後，我拿安裝光碟來開機，並進入磁碟工具程式去修復
結果還是沒救，修到一半就出現問題了
也不知道是磁碟壞軌還是怎麼回事
只好去買顆 100G 的硬碟，回家把小白給拆了，換上新的硬碟整個重裝
還好，原來那顆硬碟的資料都還讀得到，經過昨天一整天的重裝及設定
現在，小白暫時可以用了，剩下的應用程式，等要用到再慢慢安裝了

看到 MacBook Pro 實在很流口水
不過，根據 Apple 的傳統，第一代的產品，還是先不要急著買，當白老鼠
免得到時會氣死自己
